The vibrant International Traditional Kahramanmaraş August Fair, organized by the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, officially opens its doors on Saturday, August 1, at the KAFUM Fair Center. Spanning an entire month, the event promises to be the premier summer meeting point for the region, offering a rich program featuring live concerts, talk shows, national radio broadcasts, and diverse cultural and artistic activities.
The grand opening day sets an energetic tone with day-long events. Popular Alem FM broadcasters Fatih Yıldırım, Serdar Gökalp, and Umut Bezgin will host a live nationwide radio broadcast directly from KAFUM between 16:00 and 18:00, bringing the fair’s atmosphere to listeners across Türkiye. Following the broadcast at 19:00, the trio will engage with fair visitors in a live talk show titled “Kafa Açan Uzman” (Mind-Opening Expert).
Uniting Music, Culture, and Community
The opening night concludes with a high-energy performance by renowned rap artist Eypio at 21:30. Taking the main stage, the artist will perform fan-favorite hits including Ömrüm, Yeraltı, Sana Rağmen, Geceleri Yak, and Kıyamam, wrapping up the inauguration in a celebratory atmosphere.
Running continuously from August 1 to August 31, the fair will feature children’s activities, artistic exhibitions, and cultural showcases designed to appeal to visitors of all ages. By attracting guests from surrounding provinces, the organization aims to make a significant contribution to Kahramanmaraş’s social and cultural vitality.
